A Tradition
of Excellence

Our Story

Kali Hart, named after the Talbott Winery founder’s daughter, is committed to a tradition of excellence. This dedication to producing quality and highly acclaimed wines is evident from the moment the grapes are planted in beautiful Monterey to its uncorking.

Our wines embody the essence of Monterey terroir. The deep sand and gravelly soils of the region coupled with the dramatic maritime influence create the perfect conditions for cool-climate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines. Kali Hart is committed to preserving this unique terroir and has been recognized as Certified California Sustainable thanks to responsible practices that help protect the land.

Sustainably Grown

For 40 years, the morning sun, rocky cliffs, and sea salt-kissed fog of Monterey have played an integral part in growing the grapes that become Kali Hart wines. The vineyards where these grapes flourish have taken the lead in implementing sustainable practices to protect this land, including:

  • 100% of recycled water is used to irrigate the vineyards*
  • 2:1 Industry leading water to wine produced ratio*
  • 70% of vineyard power is offset by the use of solar panels*

Many of these practices have helped Kali Hart be recognized as Certified California Sustainable by the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance.
